I read recently at Skippy's Vegetable Garden about leggy seedlings. These are what I think are some cauliflower seeds I started a week or so ago. They are very long.
I will try to give them more light and try some tips people have mentioned for broccoli like burying part of the stem when I transplant it.
(The other seedlings are basil.)

Leggy plants are exactly why I don't start seeds inside. The way our house is situated we don't have a southern exposure. I don't have room for lights so...nothing is planted ahead of time. I have to wait until it warms outside. Of course I am two zones ahead of your area, 6b. I bet you can't wait to thaw out.
